Colesville street-racing kills innocent driver
Police in Colesville are looking for two street-racing drivers they say caused a deadly crash.
The wreck occurred late Wednesday afternoon on Randolph Road.
Police say a silver car hit a dark blue 2006 Nissan Altima that was not racing. The Nissan flipped over, killing the driver, identified as 31-year-old Nelvis Garcia of Wheaton.
On Thursday, the victim's family gave an impassioned plea for information about the drivers.
The silver car and a green and white Mini Cooper it was allegedly racing fled the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
