Courtenay Nash of McLean found dead in Syracuse University residence hall

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse University Chancellor Nancy Cantor has identified the student who was found dead at DellPlain Hall on Friday afternoon as Courtenay Nash, of McLean, Virginia. Nash was a first year student in the College of Arts & Sciences, majoring in economics.
A significant police presence gathered at the residence hall after Nash was found dead at around 4:30 p.m.
Police say they do not know the cause of Nash's death.
Syracuse Police Sgt. Tom Connellan said they do not believe the incident is criminal in nature.
Approximately 12 police patrol cars were on the scene. City police are working with Syracuse University's public safety officers.
