D.C. Marine Corps Marathon registration opens

WASHINGTON (AP) - Runners can start registering for the 37th Marine Corps Marathon, which has a race course that winds through Virginia and the nation's capital.

Registration for the marathon opens at 3 p.m. Wednesday on the race's website. Last year, registration closed in 28 hours.
This year's registration fee is $92. The 2012 race will take place Oct. 28.
