Daniel Everette pleads guilty to murdering estranged wife in Woodbridge
March 26, 2012 - 01:39 pm
The man who was accused of shooting his estranged wife to death outside a Woodbridge Chick-fil-A last February pleaded guilty to first-degree murder Monday afternoon.
Daniel Lunie Everette, 53, entered the plea in the murder of 48-year-old Alice Jenkins Everette at Prince William Circuit Court, Inside Nova reports.
The shooting happened on the morning of Feb. 17, 2011, during which time the suspect and victim were going through divorce proceedings. Police say Everette tracked Jenkins down to the fast-food restaurant on Prince William Parkway, where surveillance video showed him shooting her through a car window several times.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
