Fairfax student assault: Suspect sketch released in assault of Woodson student
As the search continues for a suspect in the March 19 sexual assault of a Fairfax teenager, county police officials have released a sketch of the man they think is behind the crime.
Fairfax County Police have already released still images and surveillance video of the man accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old Woodson High School student as she walked home from school last week, but authorities continue to step up their efforts.
Police say the assault occurred at about 4 p.m. on March 19 at the end of Pickett Road in Fairfax.
WATCH: Surveillance video of the suspect
The man approached and grabbed the female student from behind and that the girl was knocked down during a struggle, police say. The victim ran to a nearby house for help, but the suspect fled into the woods and got away.

Surveillance video from a nearby home caught the suspect running down the street wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
School officials have been monitoring the path where the assault happened ever since the incident.
