Man dies following stabbing at The Library Bar & Grill in Northeast
A man was killed early Sunday morning following a stabbing inside of a Northeast nightclub.
D.C. police said that a 35-year-old man was stabbed inside The Library Bar & Grill at 3514 12th Street NE at about 2:30 a.m. The man was reportedly suffering from multiple stab wounds when police arrived. He was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The bar was hosting a party they called "March Madness" Saturday night. A publicity poster says that the party was a "Grande Finale Fete" for the bar "before they close their doors forever."
Homicide investigators are working on the case and ask that if anyone has any relevant information they call (202) 727-9099 to report it.
