Howard Medical student overcomes odds to achieve dream

More than 100 Howard Medical School students can now add the suffix "M.D." to their names.
At a special match day celebration, these new doctors learned the location of their medical internships.
NewsChannel 8's Mike Conneen shares the inspiring story of one of those medical students, who overcame poverty and rejection to achieve her dream.
