Jubilee Housing computer theft suspects caught on camera
MPD detectives are investigating a late February burglary that resulted in the theft of laptops used by residents who used them for job searches and educational purposes.
The burglary took place between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. on Feb. 26 at the Jubilee Housing complex, an affordable-housing building at 1631 Euclid St. NW. Surveillance video shows two suspects, a man and a woman, entering the building and walking through the lobby.
Near the end of the video, the male suspect is seen leaving the building wearing the other suspect's jacket and a large backpack.
Police describe the suspects as a black, heavy-set female with short hair and a dark blue coat and a tall, slim black man with short hair and facial hair. In the video, he is wearing blue tennis shoes, dark jeans and a dark t-shirt.
Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to contact MPD detectives at (202) 673-6918.
