Man shoots brother in Capitol Heights

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) - Prince George's County police say a man has been hospitalized after being shot by his brother in Capitol Heights.

Police say they were called to the 900 block of Karen Boulevard, near the Walker Mill Middle School, about 9:30 p.m. Monday for a report of a shooting.

Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot injury to his midsection. The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. He remains in critical condition.

Authorities say the victim's brother is in police custody. Police have not released the name of the victim or his brother.
