Man shot in Arlington parking lot by suspect in ski mask, all black clothing
A man has been shot multiple times in a parking lot in Arlington by a man in a ski mask and wearing all black clothing, police say.
The victim was sitting in a car in the 4200 block of 2nd Road North when the suspect walked up to him just before 8 p.m. They exchanged words and the suspect opened fire, shooting the victim in the abdomen and upper right leg, police say.
The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The suspect remains at large and is armed with a handgun. Police describe the suspect as a black man, about 5'8".
The victim, described as Hispanic, was shot in the abdomen and leg and his injuries are considered life threatening, police say.
A police helicopter is helping in the manhunt. Police urge citizens in the area to stay inside.
The 4200 block of 2nd Road North is at N. Glebe Road about a quarter mile northeast of Arlington Blvd,/Route 50.
