Mike Isabella, Top Chef contestant, to open D.C. restaurants
March 6, 2012 - 02:37 pm
For months, Mike Isabella has been dodging answering questions concerning the rumors he was opening a restaurant in downtown D.C. Tuesday, it was confirmed and not just about one restaurant opening, according to the Washington Post. Isabella will be opening up two restaurants right next door to each other.
The location of the restaurants will be on the corner of 14th and W streets NW.
The main attraction will be Kapnos, the 150-seat Greek restaurant. Alongside of it will be G, a 45-seat location serving soups and sandwiches by day and a tasting menu by night. Expectantly, it will be open by 2013, according to the Washington Post. The other restaurant, G, will highlight classic Italian dishes.
