Nearly 1,100 people in Montgomery County were left in the dark Thursday morning due to a power outage.
A series of power lines are down and either dangling across the roadway or in the street over Colesville Road near the entrance to the Capital Beltway.
Pepco's power outage map showed that about 1,074 people were out of power in the area at about 9:30 am. However, by 10:45, that number was down less than 50.
