Montgomery Village pitbull attack injures two teens
Two teenagers were injured on Tuesday night when they were bitten by two loose pitbulls, one of which was eventually shot by a Montgomery County Police officer.
Montgomery County Police officials say the attack happened in the 20400 block of Boulder Ridge Terrace in Montgomery Village. Authorities say attempts to subdue one of the dogs with a taser failed, so an officer was forced to shoot and kill it.
The other dog involved in the attack was subdued by the taser, police say.
Both teens were taken to an area hospital with dog-bite injuries. One of the owners of the dogs came to collect the surviving pitbull, while police are still searching the owner of the other dog.
