The Syracuse Orange and Michigan State Spartans, who both came into the tournament with high hopes of bringing home the crown, will attempt to advance tonight.

Syracuse, the top seed in the East Region, will take on 4th-seeded Wisconsin at TD Garden in Boston. The road for the Orange hasn't been easy, having to fend off strong challenges from UNC-Asheville and Kansas State to get to the Sweet 16.

They'll take on a Badgers squad that squeaked by Vanderbilt in the Round of 32.

"They’re not going to give you anything," Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim told the Syracuse Post-Standard. You’re not going to get anything easy against them.’’

In Phoenix, Tom Izzo's Michigan State squad is no stranger to deep tournament runs, but they'll face a stiff test against Rick Pitino and the Louisville Cardinals, who went to the Big East championship game.

Thursday's other two games in Boston and Phoenix include match-ups between #2 Ohio State and #6 Cincinnati in Boston, while #3 Marquette faces #7 Florida in Phoenix.

#4 Louisville vs. #1 Michigan State - 7:47 p.m.
#6 Cincinnati vs. #2 Ohio State - 9:45 p.m.
