March 14, 2012 - 07:22 am
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) - Busch Gardens is teaming up with Snyder's of Hanover for the fourth annual "Pretzel Coaster Build-Off."
The Virginia amusement park is seeking entries of roller coasters made of pretzels by June 4.
Using glue guns and pretzels, the builders of the four best models will compete against each other to build a replica of the theme park's Verbolten ride. The new indoor and outdoor multi-launch roller coaster is set to debut this spring.
The final build-off challenge is set for July 10.
The contest is open to anyone over the age of 8 and a resident of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, District of Columbia, Virginia or North Carolina.
