Reginald Rogers sentenced for killing Calvin Woodland, Jr.

A 20-year-old D.C. man was sentenced Friday to 42 years behind bars for killing a community activists’ son during a robbery in SE D.C.

Reginald Rogers was sentenced in D.C. Superior Court for killing Calvin Woodland, Jr., 18, during a street robbery on Jan. 27, 2010, in a parking lot in the 800 block of Barnaby Street SE.

The victim’s father is Calvin Woodland, Sr.
