Shanice Elliot, 11, reported missing
An 11 year-old Silver Spring girl has been reported missing.
Montgomery County Police are searching for Shanice Elliot, who was last seen at approximately 2:40 p.m. on March 16. She left from Francis Scott Key Middle School in Silver Spring and never returned home from school, police said.
Elliot is described as a black female, approximately five foot, one inch tall, weighing approximately 80 pounds. She has brown eyes and shoulder length, black hair in a ponytail. She has yellow and blue braces on her teeth. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and pink sweatpants, according to police.
Police said that both they and the family are worried about her welfare because of her age. Elliot has never been missing before.
Anyone with information on where Elliot could be is asked to immediately call the Family Crimes Division at 240-773-5400 or the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000. Callers may remain anonymous.
