Thomas Jerel Baldwin arrested for Spotsylvania drive-by shooting

The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man in connection with a drive-by shooting where an 11-year-old boy was shot in the back while sleeping.
Thomas Jerel Baldwin is charged two counts of attempted murder, one count of malicious wounding, one count of discharging a firearm at an occupied dwelling, one count of shooting a firearm in commission of a felony, one count use of a firearm in commission of a felony and one count of possession of a firearm by convicted felon.
The shooting happened in the 200 block of Burlington Drive on September 18 2011.
