Tractor-trailer gets stuck in Thomas Circle tunnel

A lane of eastbound Massachusetts Avenue in Northwest Washington was blocked for a period of time Wednesday morning after a tractor-trailer got stuck inside a tunnel under Thomas Circle.
Metropolitan Police officials tweeted the delay and the incident just before 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Massachusetts Avenue runs two lanes in each direction in the area of Thomas Circle.
