WASHINGTON (AP) - A former employee of XM Satellite Radio has pleaded guilty to helping embezzle more than $900,000.
Valencia Person pleaded guilty in Washington's federal court on Friday to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
Prosecutors say Person was working in the accounts payable department of the company when she and another employee, Brenda L. Jones, embezzled more than $900,000 from their employer.
Jones pleaded guilty in January and is awaiting sentencing. Person faces up to five years in prison, but sentencing guidelines call for a sentence of between two to two and a half years.
Sentencing is set for June 8. Person's lawyer did not immediately return a call seeking comment Friday.
