ABC7's Alison Starling tied the knot this weekend. Starling married NBC Correspondent Peter Alexander Saturday in Washington, D.C. The ceremony was conducted on the roof of the Newseum with the U.S. Capitol in the background.

The couple met while they were both reporters in Seattle. They stayed friends for years, getting engaged last year in Paris, France.

Wedding guests included Alison's co-anchor Leon Harris and Vice President and Director of Sports for ABC7 Tim Brant.
