April 16, 2012 - 05:58 am
An Anne Arundel County Police officer was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car involved in a hit-and-run accident in Annapolis.
The incident happened Sunday night on Route 665 near Route 50.
The officer was conducting a traffic stop when a car was rear-ended by another vehicle, causing that car to strike him, Anne Arundel Police said.
The three people who were riding in the car that hit the other car fled the scene, but two of them were later arrested. Police are looking for a third suspect.
