BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore authorities are charging a mother accused of stabbing her 8-month-old baby at a social services office with attempted first-degree murder.
According to a statement of probable cause filed Wednesday, 29-year-old Kenisha Thomas was on a supervised visit with her daughter at the social services office. The document says she slipped a kitchen knife past security and used it to stab her infant daughter in the face and neck on Tuesday.
Police have charged Thomas with attempted murder, assault, child abuse and weapons violations.
