Beyonce writes public letter to First Lady Michelle Obama
April 13, 2012 - 05:01 am
Pop star Beyonce wrote a public letter to the First Lady Michelle Obama thanking her being a role model to her newborn daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
In the handwritten letter posted on her website, Beyonce called Mrs. Obama "the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman" and that she’s proud to have her daughter grow up in a world where she has people like Mrs. Obama to look up to.
Beyonce also wrote that she is a “is caring mother, she’s a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the FIRST LADY!”
It’s not clear if Beyonce also mailed the note to the White House.
