A married couple was found dead inside their Capitol Heights home early Tuesday morning in what police believe is a murder-suicide.
Prince George's County Police say that Marilyn Yvette Mace, 52, and Dennis Bernard Mace, 53, were found suffering gunshot wounds just after 1:15 a.m. Tuesday. Police believe that the husband shot and killed his wife, then turned the gun on himself.
Both victims were pronounced dead on the scene. A niece who lived at the residence called police after discovering her aunt and uncle suffering from gunshots wounds, police say.
A weapon which police believe was used in the shooting was recovered from the home.
