D.C. infant mortality report to be released

WASHINGTON (AP) - District of Columbia leaders are set to discuss the city's latest infant mortality statistics.
Mayor Vincent Gray and city health department officials will release the district's 2010 infant mortality report on Thursday afternoon.
They'll also highlight efforts to reduce infant deaths in the city.
Infant mortality rates are a widely accepted indicator of community health.
