D.C. police release surveillance video of suspect in sexual assault

D.C. police released a surveillance video and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in the sexual assault of a woman late Wednesday night.
Shortly before midnight the man assaulted the woman in the 1600 block of 21st Place, SE.
A police statement described the suspect: The person of interest in this case is identified as a black male in his late teens to mid 20’s. He was last seen wearing a royal blue athletic jacket with hood and multiple white stripes running from the shoulder to the sleeve, and a pair of multi-colored long pajama pants. He had a pair of white tennis shoes with the top part of the shoes being black, and a black baseball cap with New York Yankees logo.
