April 9, 2012 - 08:46 pm
FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - A Frederick man has been released on bond after about 200 grams of cocaine were found in a bag he allegedly tossed from his car.
Twenty-nine-year-old Roosevelt Harris is charged with cocaine possession and distribution.
The News-Post of Frederick reports that Maryland State Police pulled Harris over on Saturday after intercepting a call from a wiretap on his phone. He alleged led troopers on a short chase and threw drugs from his vehicle.
A search warrant was obtained from Harris' home, where authorities say they found 30 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
