Jeopardy! Teen Championship now taping at DAR Constitution Hall
Two days of taping for Jeopardy began today at DAR Constitution Hall.
We told you about Power Players Week, but there's also a bunch of smart teens competing for some big money in the Jeopardy! Teen Championship.
Before the big show, Jeopardy host Alex Trebek took time to meet with all of the Jeopardy teen tournament semi-finalists and give them a pep talk.
Nine lucky teenagers made the cut, six young women and three young men from all over the United States.
The youngest contestant is 16 years old and from California.
WATCH: ABC7's Natasha Barrett talks with some of the contestants, including last year's Jeopardy! Teen Champion, Raynell Cooper from Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, who is now a freshman at George Washington University.
