Old Branch Road car crash: Car hits home in Clinton
April 23, 2012 - 10:54 am
A driver suffered minor injuries when his car slammed into a house in Clinton early Monday morning, police say.
The crash happened at a home in the 8400 block of Old Branch Road in Clinton. Prince George's County Police Sgt. Sonya Rorls said that just after 7 a.m., the man lost control of his car while going northbound.
Three people inside the home, who were all upstairs at the time of the crash, were uninjured. The driver of the car was taken to an area hospital for evaluation.
Authorities say that there's a likely chance that the family will not be able to stay in the home tonight.
Police continue to investigate the incident. No charges have been filed.
