Pedestrian hit by train in Woodbridge

A pedestrian was hit by a train Sunday afternoon in Woodbridge near the Virginia Rail Express Station.
The individual was walking on the tracks about 5 p.m. when hit, says a spokesperson for the Prince William County Fire Department.
The victim has been medevaced and is suffering life-threatening injuries.
It happened north of the Featherstone Road crossing.
