April 28, 2012 - 07:44 pm
A Prince George's County Police officer has been suspended after he was in the presence of a woman arrested for drug possession in D.C.
At about 8 p.m. Friday, the woman was arrested on 5th Street SE.
The officer, who was off duty, was suspended because he was in the presence of a woman who was arrested and had drugs in her possesion, says Sgt. Sonya Rorls, a spokesperson for Prince George's County Police. He was not arrested.
The Special Investigative Response Team is investigating, Rorls says.
