Prince George's police arrest two bank robbery suspects
Police arrested two bank robbery suspects in Prince George’s County Wednesday. They have been identified as Reginald Lasley, 40, and Dillian Tucker, 34.
One of the suspects was injured when he tied a sheet around his neck and jumped out a three-story window while police were trying to arrest him, police say, adding that they believe it was a suicide attempt.
Police cut the suspect down while he was hanging. He was taken to a local hospital.
Police say the suspects tried to rob an M&T Bank on Campus Way South.
“The driver of the vehicle was immediately apprehended,” says Prince George’s County Police Deputy Chief Hector Velez. “The passenger climbed over a fence that had barbed wire on top and he ended up cutting himself.”
That passenger was the suspect who jumped out the window, police say.
Police say they believe the suspects were involved in two other bank robberies in Prince George’s County during the past week. All the robberies included a note being passed to the teller. The suspects were unarmed.
