The Washington Post reports that jurors began deliberations in the case Wednesday.

Twenty-one-year-old Sanquan Carter and his brother 22-year-old Orlando Carter are charged with first-degree murder, along with 23-year-olds Jeffrey Best, Robert Bost and Lamar Williams.

Prosecutors say Sanquan Carter called his brother after he believed his bracelet was stolen at a southeast Washington home on March 21, 2010.

Prosecutors say three of the accused arrived at the home with guns and eventually killed 20-year-old Jordan Howe.

Authorities say three teenagers were killed more than a week later after Howe's funeral by shots fired from a rented minivan.

The group is also accused of killing another man.
