World Bank/IMF meeting street closures in Northwest
There will be several street closures beginning Thursday, April 19 at approximately 5 p.m. through Sunday at approximately 7 p.m. surrounding the IMF/World Bank spring meetings.
On the map, the red line designates a road that will be closed throughout the weekend. The blue lines indicate roads that could be closed temporarily. The green line specifically indicates emergency parking restrictions. All roads, though, have emergency parking restrictions in place.
The Metropolitan Police Department has provided the following information about street closures and parking restrictions for this weekend’s meetings:
Street Closures
• 19th Street, NW from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue
The following streets will remain open with temporary closures possible beginning Thursday, April 19 at approximately 5 pm, through Sunday, April 22 at approximately 7 pm.
• 18th Street, NW from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue
• 20th Street, NW from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue
• G Street, NW from 18th Street to 20th Street
• H Street (southern side) from 18th Street to 20th Street
The following Emergency No Parking restrictions will be in effect from 5 pm on Thursday, April 19 through Sunday, April 22 at approximately 7 pm:
• 18th Street, NW from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue
• 19th Street, NW from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue
• 20th Street, NW from G Street to Pennsylvania Avenue
• G Street, NW from 18th Street to 20th Street
• H Street (southern side), NW from 18th Street to 20th Street
• Pennsylvania Avenue, NW from 18th Street to 20th Street
