Sumiko Hagan dies in car crash in McLean

An 81-year-old woman was killed Thursday after the vehicle she was riding in struck a parked vehicle and part of a concrete structure in a parking garage in McLean.
The deceased was identified as Sumiko Hagan, of McLean.
McLean police went to the crash scene in the 8200 block of Greensboro Drive shortly before 11 a.m. on Thursday.
Police say an 89-year-old man was driving with Hagan on Greensboro Drive when he lost control, entered a parking garage and struck a concrete support pole and an unoccupied parked vehicle head on.
