April 17, 2012 - 06:09 am
WASHINGTON (AP) - District of Columbia police say two teenagers have been arrested in the death of a 16-year-old who was one of last year's youngest homicide victims in the city.
Police say the teens were charged with first-degree murder while armed in the shooting of Bryant Morillo, who lived in Hyattsville, Md., in January 2011.
Authorities say he was fatally shot in the 4500 block of New Hampshire Avenue.
A second person was also shot but survived. Police said Monday that the suspects were arrested by the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force.
