Temple Hills shooting involves police officer

Prince George’s County police are investigating a police-involved shooting in Temple Hills.
Authorities say an officer responded to a report of a burglary in the 3100 block of Good Hope Road around 3 a.m. Thursday, but discovered a domestic situation.
Police say they encountered a man who was acting suspiciously. He threw himself on the ground and appeared to be pulling a gun from his waistband and an officer dischargedhis weapon but diodn't strike the suspect.
No injuries were reported.
Officers found a man stabbed inside the apartment who police say the suspect wounded. That victim remains in critical condition.
The suspect was identified as Joseph Barrington Halsey, 23, of District Heights, Md.
