Two kidnapped during carjacking in Columbia Heights
April 21, 2012 - 11:25 am
Two people were forced into the trunk of a vehicle and kidnapped during a NW carjacking in Columbia Heights.
MPD says a man and a woman were in a silver Honda civic at about 6 a.m. when a suspect carjacked them both. The suspect forced both victims into the trunk of the vehicle but removed the man from the trunk because the suspect couldn't drive a stick shift.
The male victim fled from the car in the 4300 of Nannie Helen Burroughs NE but the suspect continued driving with the woman toward Prince George’s County.
Woman was found in the trunk of the vehicle in the 700 block of 60th Avenue. The woman's condition is unknown.
