Two-year-old boy hit, killed by SUV in New Carrollton

A two-year-old boy was killed when he ran into the street and hit the side of a moving SUV in New Carrollton, police say.
Ethan Tyson Guzman was playing in a yard in the 6400 block of 85th Place about 3 p.m.
New Carrollton Police say the driver of an SUV was traveling southbound when the child ran into the road and struck the side of the vehicle. The driver remained on the scene.
The child was transported by ambulance to Children's Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
The Prince George's County Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit (C.A.R.U.) responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
