Tyler Laing, Jonathan Frame arrested in Fredericksburg robbery
April 2, 2012 - 09:38 am
Two men have been arrested in connection with the January robbery of a man outside his home in Fredericksburg.
Spotsylvania County Sheriff's officials say that 20-year-old Tyler Scott Laing was located and arrested in Texas by U.S. Marshalls late last week. Shortly thereafter, another man, 22-year-old Jonathan Parker Frame, was also arrested and charged. Laing is awaiting extradition back to Virginia.
Police say that on the afternoon of Jan. 10, the victim was outside his home with his dog when Frame and Laing allegedly forced him into his home.
The suspects then took a safe, the man's wallet and two purses belonging to the victim's wife, officials say. They also got away with an undisclosed amount of prescription medication.
