UMd. student Alexander Song faces competency hearing

A student accused of planning a deadly shooting spree at the University of Maryland will have a competency hearing Tuesday.
Alexander Song was arrested on April 3.
After a court hearing, he was released on his own recognizance.
Song was charged with misuse of email, disturbing the peace and other offenses.
In March, Song allegedly warned on Websites that he would kill numerous people on campus. He’s now barred from campus.
