Alexandria waterfront feud: Headed to the Va. Supreme Court?
May 4, 2012 - 07:22 pm
The fight over the Alexandria waterfront is heating up again and could end up in the Virginia Supreme Court.
In January, after three years of negotiations, the city approved a plan for developing 10 acres of mostly waterfront property in Old Town.
But three residents sued the city, claiming Alexandria leaders did not follow the right process when voting to approve the plan.
ABC7's Kimberly Suiters talks with the conflicting parties, including the city attorney, Jim Banks, and tells us what the disagreements are.
