Andrew Dziuk arrested for incident at Ritz-Carlton
A Centreville man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly causing a scene at a local Ritz-Carlton hotel.
Andrew Dziuk, 29, was charged with brandishing a firearm, reckless handling of a firearm, and being drunk in public, Arlington County Police Spokesperson Dustin Sternbeck said.
Dziuk entered the Ritz Carlton on South Hayes Street with two firearms visible on his waist early Wednesday morning, police say. He asked the front desk about a room. After he became upset about the room rate, he asked if they were still serving alcohol, police say. Hotel staff asked him to leave.
Dziuk then left the hotel lobby and was outside the hotel when a hotel security guard approached him. At that point, the man waved the guns toward the security guard, police say. Police were called and they placed the man under arrest.
