Ann Jenene Cinnamon sentenced for murder-for-hire plot
ALEXANDRIA, Va. - A woman will spend six years in prison for hiring someone to kill her boyfriend's mistress.
Ann Jenene Cinnamon, also known as Jenene Greer, 41, of Sterling, Va., pleaded guilty to the allegations back in February, authorities say.
In August 2011, Cinnamon contacted a man she met on BeNaughty.com in hopes he could help her find a hit man, court records state.
Authorities says she offered to pay the hit-man $500, offering $100 as a down payment. She also planned an alibi
Uknown to her, the man she contacted to find the hit man instead brought the plan to the attention of the FBI. Officers closely monitored the interactions between the two, arresting Cinnamon on October 20, 2011.
Cinnamon was arrested in a Great Falls shopping center after having a meeting with the man to plan the murder and payment.
Following her six year sentence, Cinnamon will be placed on three years supervised. release.
