Police: Rodent, not baby, found in NE trash bin
May 2, 2012 - 11:00 am
UPDATE: Earlier reports of a baby found in a NE trash bin are unfounded as D.C. police are now saying it was a rodent, not a child.
ORIGINAL: A baby was found abandoned inside a garbage can in Northeast, police say.
Officers are on the scene near the intersection of 12th and Crittenden streets Wednesday morning.
There’s no word on the condition of the child as no further details were immediately available.
This story will be updated.
