Fans mourned the loss and celebrated the life of Go-Go pioneer Chuck Brown with vigils across the D.C. metro area.
Brown died Wednesday at the age of 75. His passing comes about a week after the Washington Post confirmed that the musician, considered the pioneer of Go-Go music, had been hospitalized with pneumonia.
Watch ABC7's Jummy Olabanji's report from one of the many vigils held in Brown's memory, where fans remembered their favorite Chuck Brown hits and how his music influenced their lives.
