Clinton crash kills one

A 54-year-old man is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Clinton

Maryland State Police say a man was hit near the intersection of Branch Avenue and Kirby Road around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday. He was pronounced dead at upon arrival.

The victim was identified by authorities as Dominique Beague of Clinton.

The driver of the striking vehicle remained on the scene, police say.

The investigation is ongoing.
