Investigators are trying to locate a lifetime registered sex offender who failed to report a change of address to St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office.

Earl Benjamin Washington, who was convicted in 2001 of a second degree sex offense and released from prison in March 2012, is described as a black male, 6'2" tall with black hair and brown eyes. He also goes by the nickname “Taz”.

Authorities say Washington is longer living at his listed residence in Lexington Park and did not give any notice of a change in his living situation, as required by law.
