CHILLUM, Md. (AP) - Prince George's County police say the driver of a car that hit a man in Chillum is in custody.
Police say the driver did not remain on the scene after the 49-year-old man was hit on Ager Road on Saturday night, but he returned Sunday morning.
They say the 60-year-old man is cooperating with investigators and charges are pending.
The injured man was taken to an area hospital, where he is listed in critical condition. Police say he was not near a crosswalk or an intersection when he was hit.
